Grandma

Present Day, New York City, USA…

THE sun had barely had barely set, when the New York nightlife for a Saturday that is had already begun. For the Club of New York, that is – already there was a line grandma about a block long just to get in, and these were people with invitations. The party-crashers hadn't even woken up yet!

It was going to be another wild night, Suzie thought as her limo pulled up at the curb. The uniformed doorman hurried to open the door and help her out. Her silk evening gown briefly slid open to reveal shapely, creamy legs before she gracefully stepped onto the pavement. She could practically touch the excitement that was humming in the air. Her heart began to race. It was the moment of truth, all or nothing time, grandma she told herself.

"Hi, Rudy. Is everything under control? Do you need any extra help for tonight?" Suzie asked. "You know we can always ask grandma for additional black and whites, maybe even station a car on the corner."
